Claire remembers when she was young that there was a pile of phone books in a chair to help her reach while coloring at her Nana's kitchen table.
During High School, she was accepted into the State of Georgia's Governors Honor Program for Fine Arts. She then earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Georgia College in Milledgeville, G.A..
Her family always emphasized the importance of continuing education whether inside or outside of the classroom or art studio.
Her watercolor and acrylic landscapes serve as instants to reflect on exploration and humility.
Her photography is centered in documenting her time in the fine dining and outdoor industries. It is important to her to support both of these essential working communities and the many people behind them.
With a background in Printmaking and Gallery Curation, her work is inspired by processes and techniques in these fields.
Over the last 3 years she has focused her professional growth towards creative direction & project management. In those moments, she particularly enjoyed seeking out opportunities to connect artists, interior designers, and the crucial framing fabricators with her professional clients.
Before she was with DAC Art Consulting, in Atlanta, GA, she was the Director & Curator of North Park Gallery in Marietta, GA. It was a distinctive time for her to lead the gallery space. She believes everyone needs safe and peaceful spaces to interpret southeastern contemporary artists. Fundamentally, everyone needs a positive experience while investing in art for their personal homes.
Currently, she resides in Atlanta, G.A..
She no longer uses the phone books.
